Steven Curtis Chapman

On March 25, I had the chance to see one of my life-long musical heroes in concert. Steven Curtis Chapman is not only extremely talented, it’s also very down-to-earth. Unlike other artists, he spent a lot of time just chatting … telling stories behind the songs and sharing pieces of his journey. Afterwards, I felt like I had spent three hours in his living room – and I loved it.

Geoff Moore joined Steven on his tour … the two sang together and also just chatted. They are pretty funny guys.

Also on stage that night was Steven’s two sons: Caleb and Will Franklin. Caleb, the oldest, has started his own band with a couple of friends, and the group opened the night with some of their own tunes.
